Privacy Policy

CtrlTime (“we”, “the app”) is a macOS desktop automation product. This
policy describes what data the app may access and when anything leaves
your device.
Data that stays on your Mac
Workflows, recordings, and most automation state are stored locally under
your application data directory. Keyboard/mouse simulation and session
recording use macOS Accessibility, Automation (Apple Events), Screen
Recording, and optionally Input Monitoring — only to run workflows you
create or recordings you start. We do not sell this data.
Optional cloud services
- Google Sheets — if you connect Google, tokens and API
calls go to Google under your account.
- AI features — when used, prompts/transcripts may be
sent to the configured AI provider (e.g. Gemini) or a local model.
- License validation — Pro license keys are validated
with Lemon Squeezy (or our license proxy).
- Auto-update — the app checks GitHub Releases for
version metadata and signed update packages.
- Telemetry (opt-in) — if enabled in Settings, anonymous
events (app version, feature counters) may be sent to our telemetry
endpoint. Workflow contents and keystrokes are never included.
